Operating mode
  1. Water leak detection
    When a detector senses a water leak, it emits an audible alarm and sends the closing signal to the valve.
  2. Water inlet closure
    As soon as the valve receives the signal from one of the water leak detectors, it closes the water inlet automatically.
  3. Sending alerts
    As soon as a leak is detected, the unit owner and the building manager receive an email or text message notifying about the leak’s location and the closure of the water intake.*
* Requires a permanent Internet connection, the Neviweb app and Sinopé Smart Systems platform available on the App Store and Google Play.

The Sedna smart water valve can control up to 20 accessories for additional protection of the units.

For a complete water damage protection system, the GT4220WF-M gateway is required.

  • Remote access and control of the main water supply through smartphone, tablet and computer*
  • Automatic valve closure as soon as a water leak or a temperature drop to 5 °C is sensed by one of the detectors
  • Compact design facilitating access to the product once installed
  • Equipped with an uninterruptible power supply (ACUPS-01) for up to 24 hours of additional power in the event of a power failure
  • Possibility of adding an additional backup power source (lithium batteries, not included) for ongoing operation
  • The valve is equipped with a self-testing system to ensure proper operation at all times
  • Possibility to open and close the valve manually
  • Removable controller allowing the replacement of parts without any further modification to the plumbing
  • Audible alarm and notification sent by email or text message when there is a water leak, a drop in temperature and when the batteries are low*
  • Ultra-precise sensors detecting a minimum water level of 0.4 mm (0.015 in.)
  • Compact sensors that slide easily under the sink, toilet, bathtub and near the water heater
  • Probe facilitating the installation of detectors in hard-to-reach locations
  • Detectors powered by two AAA batteries that last up to 5 years on supplied alkaline batteries or up to 10 years on lithium batteries (not included)
  • Detectors with gold-plated sensing electrodes to counter oxidation
*Remote access requires a permanent Internet connection and the Neviweb app available on App Store and Google Play. Without an Internet connection, no notification of valve closure or leak detection can be sent.
