2. More savings with peak events

Every winter, from November 1 to March 31, BC Hydro holds peak events and you could earn back $50 each year as a seasonal reward on your BC Hydro bill for each device type. 

By enrolling your smart devices in the Peak Saver program, your participation is automated. During peak events, BC Hydro will remotely adjust the setpoints of your smart devices for brief periods to manage demand on its electrical system. Those adjustments are based on the savings profile you selected when enrolling in the program in the Sinopé Neviweb app. Most customers say that they don’t even notice when events are happening.

Before each peak event, you will see a notification in the Sinopé Neviweb app. Although participation in events is automatic, you will always maintain full override control of your enrolled devices.
