Éco Sinopé offers 4 profiles that correspond to the level of
adjustment of your device's setpoint during peak demand events.

The cold-sensitive

You are a blankets and woolen socks lover, you like your comfort and are interested in saving. During peak events, you will get a low temperature adjustment, which will vary by 1.5 °C.

1. Initial setpoint temperature at 21 °C.

2. Preheating of the room by 1.5 °C.

Two hours before the event, the Éco Sinopé feature increases the thermostat’s setpoint temperature to preheat the room. This preheating allows to accumulate heat and to obtain a comfortable temperature during the peak period.

3. The ambient temperature reached 22.5 °C.

4. Lowering the initial setpoint temperature of 1.5 °C.

During the peak event, the Éco Sinopé feature lowers the thermostat’s initial setpoint temperature by 1.5 °C to help you reduce your energy consumption during critical hours. During this period, your heating system will stop working, which will lead to substantial savings.

5. The ambient temperature reached 19.5 °C.

6. Restoration of the initial setpoint temperature to 21 °C.

At the end of the event, the setpoint temperature increases by 1.5 °C to reach the initial setpoint temperature.

7. The ambient temperature reached 21 °C.

The balanced

You are looking for harmony between your comfort and your savings. During peak events, you will get a medium temperature adjustment, which will vary by 2 °C.

1) Initial setpoint temperature at 21 °C.

2) Preheating of the room by 2 °C.

3) The ambient temperature reached 23 °C.

4) Lowering the initial setpoint temperature of 2 °C.

During the peak event, the Éco Sinopé feature lowers the thermostat’s initial setpoint temperature by 2 °C to help you reduce your energy consumption during critical hours. During this period, your heating system will stop working, which will lead to substantial savings.

5) The ambient temperature reached 19 °C.

6) Restoration of the initial setpoint temperature to 21 °C.

At the end of the event, the setpoint temperature increases by 2 °C to reach the initial setpoint temperature.

7) The ambient temperature reached 21 °C.

The adventurer

You are a thoughtful person, and you want to optimize your energy consumption during peak periods to save big. During peak events, your thermostats' setpoint temperature will drop by 5 °C.

1) Initial setpoint temperature at 21 °C.

2) Preheating of the room by 2 °C.

3) The ambient temperature reached 23 °C.

4) Lowering the initial setpoint temperature of 5 °C.

During the peak event, the Éco Sinopé feature lowers the thermostat’s initial setpoint temperature by 5 °C to help you reduce your energy consumption during critical hours. During this period, your heating system will stop working, which will lead to substantial savings.

5) The ambient temperature reached 16 °C.

6) Restoration of the initial setpoint temperature to 21 °C.

At the end of the event, the setpoint temperature increases by 5 °C to reach the initial setpoint temperature.

7) The ambient temperature reached 21 °C.

The daredevil

You love challenges, and you are willing to jump without a safety net to maximize your savings. During peak events, your thermostats' setpoint temperature will drop by 10°C.

1) Initial setpoint temperature at 21 °C.

2) Preheating of the room by 2 °C.

3) The ambient temperature reached 23 °C.

4) Lowering the initial setpoint temperature of 10 °C.

During the peak event, the Éco Sinopé feature lowers the thermostat’s initial setpoint temperature by 10 °C to help you reduce your energy consumption during critical hours. During this period, your heating system will stop working, which will lead to substantial savings. For a comfortable environment, we recommend that you run a fuel-burning auxiliary heater such as a wood, wood pellet, propane, oil or natural gas fireplace.

5) Reaching the minimum room temperature.

Note: The room temperature depends on the outside temperature and the use of an auxiliary heating system. The room temperature may not reach 11°C.

6) Restoration of the initial setpoint temperature to 21 °C.

At the end of the event, the setpoint temperature increases to reach the initial setpoint temperature.

7) The ambient temperature reached 21 °C.
