How to qualify for the rebate

Customers requirements
Must be a current Lower Valley Energy customer.
To qualify for a Lower Valley Energy (LVE) thermostat rebate, the member must replace bi-metal line-voltage thermostats in an existing single-family home with electric resistance zonal heat with line-voltage electronics thermostats.

Rebate requirements
The rebate is $15.00 per thermostat.
Lower Valley Energy's rebate will be paid only if the qualifying thermostat(s) and application for the rebate is submitted within 3 months of the purchase date.

Equipment requirements
Have a digital display.
Be electronically line-voltage type.
Have a thermistor temperature sensing element that is accurate to within 1.5 degrees or better.
Be UL- or CSA-listed for use with their application (i.e., fan-forced, baseboard, wall or ceiling radiant).
Programmable thermostats must maintain temperature and program settings during power failures and have a temporary override feature.

Required documentation
You must have an itemized invoice showing manufacturer, model number, type, size, quantity, order/purchase date and cost.
