How to qualify for the rebate

Customers requirements
Customer must be classified as and served under a Danville Utilities “RS” Schedule 10 Electric Service rate for electric measures. For natural gas measures, the customer must be a Danville Utilities Natural Gas customer prior to submission of application.

Rebate requirements
The new equipment must be purchased on or after July 1st, 2023 to be eligible for rebates. Danville Home$ave Program is effective from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2025.
Rebate checks are issued within 45 days upon receipt of your completed and approved Rebate Application.
The rebate for Smart Programmable Thermostats is $75 per thermostat.
Limit of 2 rebates per single family home.

Equipment requirements
Check the list of qualified thermostats.
Smart programmable thermostats must be WiFi enabled and either occupancy sensing or self-programmable.
Rebates are available when replacing an existing thermostat.

Required documentation
Include sales receipt or invoice containing the following information: Retailer/Contractor name, address and phone number; Itemized listing of quantity, size, description, manufacturer, model number, name plate photos, thermostat photos, and other identifying information as appropriate; Purchase date and cost; Product installation date; Efficiency requirements documentation.
Application and required documentation must be received within 90 days of purchase or installation.
