Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (QC), April 16, 2019 – Sedna5, the smart water damage protection system designed by Canadian company Sinopé Technologies, is one of the finalists in the MCEE show New Product Competition. The MCEE Show is Canada’s largest plumbing, HVACR, hydronics, electrical and lighting expo.
Launched in the fall of 2018, Sedna5 will be presented with the other finalist products in the New Product Showcase at Place Bonaventure on April 24 and 25, 2019 during the MCEE Show.
Sinopé Technologies’ team will be onsite at booth #555 at MCEE Show to present its full smart home product line. Visitors who wish to obtain free admission to the expo must register by April 23rd: https://mcee.ca/registration/?lang=en
As part of the competition, each product is evaluated by a panel of industry representatives based on the following evaluation criteria: technical and engineering aspects, energy efficiency, innovation, design, and commercial potential.
The winners, as well as the Grand Jury Prize, will be unveiled on April 23 at 6:30 pm at a VIP reception gathering the leading influencers in the industry.
Sedna is a smart water leak protection system that works as a stand-alone, without requiring an intermediary or central management, even in the occurrence of a power or Internet failure. The Sedna5 Starter Kit includes one smart valve and five smart water leak detectors.
Founded in 2010, Sinopé Technologies is a Canadian company specialized in smart energy management and control systems with over 50 devices and accessories. Its three business lines are based on the creation of devices for renowned companies in North America; the implementation of management solutions for utilities; and the design of Sinopé brand products for North American consumers.
